In 2020  JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles and Sou Fujimoto Architects launched #TinyArchitect – Architecture is Everywhere, a social media contest inviting the general public to envision epic architecture on a small scale using their imagination by pairing only small figurines and daily household objects.  Alison made several entries - it was a perfect pandemic project.

Each year the Design Within Reach holds a chair design contest. The goal is to design and build a tiny chair, less than 4", using the cork, cage, foil, cap, and or label from no more than 2 champagne bottles. More info here: https://www.dwr.com/champagnechair.
